Athletics

    The K-2 basketball club met on Saturday mornings throughout March. The kids learned the fundamentals of basketball, teamwork and had lots of fun!

    Offerings include grades 3/4 and 5/6 boys and girls. After school practices in our gym. Done through St. Jerome’s Church.

    Usually a 6 week session. We meet once per week after school (3:15-4:30). We cover the fundamentals, expand on what we've learned in PE class, and play regulation games.

    We are very fortunate to currently be partnering with Bishop Kearney to field joint teams. Our athletes get to compete against county and private schools.

    • Fall: Cross Country, Football, Soccer

    • Winter: Basketball, Bowling, Indoor Track

    • Spring: Lacrosse, Flag Football, Baseball, Softball, Track and Field

Lower School

  • K-5 Chess Club: Katy Kelsey

  • Bella Voce: Caitlin Mariconti and Justine Donohue (Lower school choir) Offered to grades 2-5 & our homeschool families.

Middle School

  • Maureen Schickler, Coach

    A creative problem-solving program where team members present their solution at a competition to a predefined long-term problem that takes many months to complete and involves writing, design, construction, and theatrical performance. A spontaneous portion of the competition has the team also generate solutions to a problem they have not seen before. This program is open to Middle School students and is held two days a week after school during the winter sports season.

    From November through April, middle school students meet after school to create the St. John Bosco Schools yearbook. Using online design software, scholars gain experience using computers and learn creative skills such as graphic design and copywriting

    Students report on school news, including teacher interviews, house updates, sports, and comics.

  • Gianni Zambito, Advisor

    Offered during flex time. Middle School students meet for 40 minutes every other week to learn the basics of chess and play against their classmates
